I bet you probably don’t believe me, but it’s true. I mean, we all know there is no war in SF… (or at least not the same kind of war), but some places look like they’ve been bombed!
You still don’t believe me, go check Van Ness Avenue near Cathedral Hill right now. It looks chaotic at best. But really, it looks likes a war zone… Oh, and by the way, I picked Sarajevo kind of at random but not really. It’s actually an expression we use in French to describe a place that looks like a mess or that is extremely poor -at war. They are basically demolishing a hotel to build a new California Pacific Medical Center.

And the homeless look like war refugees. Ooops, did I say that?
You did! Bit that’s kinda true…

My first thought was Damascus or Halab referring to the present situation in The Levant. Anyway good shots!
That’s exactly my point! 🙂 thanks for dropping by!
That’s nice proof that the brain uses shortcuts. 🙂
Yup! Indeed!
Wow, and yes, you could easily say Beirut back in the 80’s!
Merry belated Christmas Morgane, and all the best to you in 2015!
Thank you! Same to you!
