L’Etoile du Nord: Saint Croix (almost)

Technically we didn’t go but we saw it… if that makes sense.

Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway is exactly what it says it is: the water. It’s formed by the Saint Croix and Namekagon rivers, is located in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, and turned 50 just this year!

Since we couldn’t go on the water, we technically didn’t go to the national park, but we walked along the banks on state park property quite a bit. We went to Interstate State Park on the Minnesota side and saw the world’s deepest glacier potholes.
