Liège: Gare des Guillemins

It’s hard to believe the train station shown below, Gare des Guillemins, was first built in 1842. Well, that might just be because this train station was recently renovated (2009) into a state-of-the-art facility. In fact, it might just be the most modern train station in Belgium. It took about 10 years to renovate and build it. The architecture is so unique that people travel to this station just to take pictures. Continue reading “Liège: Gare des Guillemins”

Train wreck…wrecked trains

This is an UrbEx post. Again, we ended up taking photos of trains, but it seems to be quite popular among UrbEx photographers.
