One of the very last things I did in San Francisco before leaving the Bay and moving to the Denver Metro Area was this photo shoot.
My friend and I decided to go to Walgreens on Powell in Downtown SF and grab one of those cable cars made for tourists. It’s now sitting in my kitchen in Denver as a reminder of my 14 years spent in the Bay. Quite the journey.
One of the most iconic tourist spots in the City is the cable car turnaround at Market and Powell. We started with the famous hill and made our way down to the turnaround. This wouldn’t have been possible without Covid-19 so I guess the coronavirus is good for one thing: photograph San Francisco’s empty streets and take advantage of the deserted City to take a couple unexpected shots.
