Yellowstone: West Thumb

This was our very last stop in Yellowstone before going to Grand Teton.

If you are on your way out and geyser-ed out, don’t think you can skip this one. West Thumb Geyser Basin is spectacular. There, you’ll have a great view of Yellowstone Lake with some fishing cones by the shore. It’s also home to the Black Pool and the Abyss pool, which both have outstanding turquoise colors with orange tones around them. Not to mention the Abyss Pool is one of the deepest in the park.
