Yellowstone: Artists Paintpots

This was actually one of our last stops on the second day, but I thought it’d be nice to start with some vibrant colors and some bubbly stuff coming out of the ground.

Wait. That’s actually a lot of Yellowstone. It’s an easy hike to the paint pots. Once you get there, you go up a little to an overlook. At the overlook, you’ll see more pools of what looks like white paint or liquid chalk. All that stuff is truly alive and well. It’s bubbly and smelly and almost magical. You really don’t get tired of seeing all the different geothermal features that Yellowstone has. It’s incredible.
