It takes quite a bit of patience to take pictures of birds, but it takes all the patience you have to take pictures of hummingbirds. Those guys are so fast and can’t stop moving. I believe that I was able to identify the hummingbird in the photographs I took as a female/immature Black-chinned Hummingbird although not 100% sure as it’s slightly out of range. I live in San Francisco’s South Bay, and it seems a little too much north, but the dots and overall feather pattern make it look like it. Feel free to chime in if you think it may be another species 😉
