Death Valley: dead and alive

I’ve been there so many times, and every time it blows me away.

While Death Valley is part of the Mojave desert, it’s got so many neat features like colorful rock formations, salt formations but also… fish! Salt Creek is home to pupfish that you won’t find anywhere else in the world. Pretty cool!

Some of the areas of the park are still closed due to a pretty important flood that took place in 2015. We didn’t get to go to Scotty’s Castle or Dante’s View due to the damage caused by the floods/storm, but it’s still one of my favorite national parks.
