Palace of Fine Arts by night

I’m so incredibly disappointed I missed the special lights for the 100th anniversary of the World’s Fair that took place in San Francisco in 1915.

The pictures from that day look really nice. Unfortunately, I’ll to be satisfied with the regular lights for now… until we celebrate the bicentennial… 😉

The Palace of Fine Arts was a definite center piece for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition and remains an important San Francisco Landmark to this day.

I’ll make sure to go back during the day one day to take some photos of the monument in broad daylight.
