I’d never seen a whale outside of an amusement park before… really cool little creatures!
My mother-in-law took us whale watching in the Monterey Bay in Moss Landing with Blue Ocean Whale Watching last weekend. Here is what I came back with. It’s not groundbreaking in any way, but the whales are pretty fast and hard to follow.
You’ll still see a few cool photos like the one of a a rainbow coming out the whale’s blowhole. All the whales you’ll see here are Humback Whales.
Wonderful!
It was a pretty amazing experience! 🙂
I’ll bet!
What a time you had! And the rainbow shot is great! 🙂
Thanks!!!
Great pictures! Did they jump out of the water and flip? i went to Brisbane in the summer and have a similar experience, but i only saw their tail and back ):
Please come visit my blog, i got a post about the whale watching too. Cheers (:

Thanks. The whales were breaching a bit but not much. Not enough that I could take a picture of them doing it. However, there was a pack of about 20 feeding for hours on end. It was great!
