Coastal Oregon – delectable region

It was my very first time there, and I absolutely loved it!

At furst, I wasn’t sure what to think because the dunes seemed to be just another tourist attraction, but they are in fact very beautiful and stretch over a pretty large area. We then hit a few towns where we found the best fudge I’ve ever had as well as some pretty delicious tayberry jam -both made by their respective store owners.

Beyond the culinary experience, Coastal Oregon is just beautiful! We went from Florence down, passing by Gold Beach, eating and walking in Bandon. We also took a walk on the beach at Redfish Rocks Marine Reserve in the town of Port Orford.

But perhaps the most intriguing discovery was a special kind of Jelly Fish called Valella that we had never seen before.
