An Oregonian natural wonder…

What you are about to see are pictures of a place that beats a lot of places that I’ve been to lately in terms of grandeur and beauty.

I just couldn’t take my eyes off this magnificent piece of nature. This place is like a postcard but better. It’s alive! We saw so many creatures ranging from deer to Great Blue Heron and Canada Geese. We also saw what was quite possibly the biggest bird nest I’d ever seen.

Oh and there is trail called Misery Ridge. It’s truly a difficult trail to hike, but it’s definitely worth it. Also, I’m not much of a climber because I’m afraid of heights, but this park is known for rock climbing. There are some serious rocks to climb out there!

Want to go to Smith Rock State Park in Central Oregon? Visit this link for more info.

PS: There are always spots to camp because it is not designated. Have fun!
