A little ranch with that Pinot?

Before I started working (about three weeks ago), my neighbor took me to her and her husband’s ranch up in Sonoma County in Cazadero.

It’s a truly beautiful place where you get lost in nature and silence. The property where sits the ranch is part of a bigger estate that was previously owned by my neighbor’s parents who started the first vineyard in that region in 1973. It was then broken up into a few separate parcels among the siblings.
