The Great-tailed Grackle

I’m really into birds these days… again. I’m really sorry if that’s not your thing, but I can’t resist taking pictures of them.

I went back to Lake Merced yesterday. You know, the lake by my house I told you about the other day. I saw the Great Blue Heron again, but it was too far for me to get a better shot. I came across quite a few other birds, though. Among them was the Great-tailed Grackle. I saw several of them. Below, you’ll see photos of a male and a female. The female is the one with the brown feathers.

  1. I love your birds, so don’t quit sharing them with us. I’ve tried just to capture the ones on my feeder, but it’s so hard. Love your work. Admire your expertise!
