(I’m such a dork). Today I’m gonna be talking about Auburn, California. Excited yet? You should be!

A few weekends ago, my wife and I went on a weekend trip to Auburn. Why, you ask. Because we found a really good Groupon to stay at a bed & breakfast up there and thought it’d be fun to see a new place. And it was fun.

It’s a small city. Everything was closed (or almost) due to President’s Day, but we still managed to find the best place for fish & chips for lunch. Dinner was a little trickier because there were long waiting lists to eat at any of the restaurants. We ended up eating in the Old Town and getting desert in the New Town.

We stayed at the Power’s Mansion Inn. It was pretty cool. It’s a typical Gold Country Victorian house. They even organize tea time at the end of each week. Neat.

Now, let’s get to it. Here are the photos.
