Lunch hour on San Francisco streets

It’s been about a year since I took this series of photos, but I never thought of sharing them here until now. Go figure.

I was visiting my then-girlfriend-now-wife back in February of last year, and I wandered around the Financial District at lunch time one day. It was quite fun actually. Some people spend time relaxing by the piers; some just eat really quickly in between two calls; others just chat with co-workers. And then, some are there to entertain the office people on their break with a little music. Oh, and some just work through it all.

The following series was taken with a Nikon D40. It’s not quite as crisp as some of my other photos, but some of the expressions and scenes seemed to be worth sharing. Enjoy!

  1. Great shots. I particularly like the woman leaning against the wall and reading a book with her lunch time cigarette!

Like these? Hate these? What's your thought on this? LET ME KNOW!
