San Francisco sunset from Twin Peaks

There is no better view of San Francisco than the one from Twin Peaks. I mean, really. It’s almost a 360 of the City. Pretty cool. You know what’s even cooler? Do what a lot of people do: watch the sunset.

So that’s what I did. The first time we went, I didn’t have my tripod so I was only able to take picture of the Sutro Tower and the ocean. The second time was yesterday, and I took photos of the City. It tuns out the tripod didn’t really help because of the wind and the length of my heavy lens (28-300). I just set the camera on some brick wall and that worked a whole lot better.

However, I feel like I need to go back and take some time to really adjust my settings because I still couldn’t really capture it. For those who are familiar with SF, you’ll recognize Market Street with its bright lights running all the way down to the Ferry Building, the Bay Bridge, The Castro Theatre, the US Mint and so on.
