Weekly photo challenge: unexpected

This is my seventh participation in the Weekly photo challenge. This week’s theme is “unexpected.” Although the photos speak for themselves, I would like to add a few details. What you are about to see is a piece of art titled Defenestration created by Brian Goggin. This is also my first attempt at HDR, and I still don’t really know what to think of this whole HDR thing.

You can see this piece of art at the corner of 6th and Howard streets in San Francisco… but not for long! They are planning on taking the whole building down. What used to be a hotel might become an apartment building for affordable housing.

  1. Ok, clueless here… am googling what HDR is! Regardless, I enjoyed seeing your photos, and am sad about the building’s demise, although low-income housing is not a bad thing. I love photos of old buildings and you’ve wonderfully captured such an interesting one! ~SueBee

Like these? Hate these? What's your thought on this? LET ME KNOW!
