It’s hard to believe the train station shown below, Gare des Guillemins, was first built in 1842. Well, that might just be because this train station was recently renovated (2009) into a state-of-the-art facility. In fact, it might just be the most modern train station in Belgium. It took about 10 years to renovate and build it. The architecture is so unique that people travel to this station just to take pictures. That’s not exactly what I did ’cause I was already in that region taking pictures of something else, but my friend and I thought it would be a great opportunity to snap a few photos of this impressive construction. Oh, and also, you might wanna know that CNN thinks it’s a pretty rad place!
