A happier Boston Marathon

The explosions that occurred yesterday (today Boston time) at the finish line of the Boston Marathon reminded me of a happier marathon I had the opportunity to watch live. I lived in Boston for a year, and my dad came to visit me right around when the marathon took place in 2006. We went up to the last floor of the Prudential and watched part of the race from up there. It was a beautiful day. My thoughts are with the people of Boston as well as the victims of the explosions that took place yesterday -7 years later. The following photographs are dedicated to the marathon and the victims of this year’s race.
